Team Wyoming 19U Girls Secures Victory Against Rushmore Thunder at M&M Center on Saturday
On Saturday afternoon, the Team Wyoming Girls 19U faced off against the Rushmore Thunder at the M&M Center in Sheridan. The game was neck-and-neck from the start, with both teams showing strong performances on the ice.
After the first period, the score was tied at 1-1. The Rushmore Thunder continued to keep the game close, tying it up each time Team Wyoming would score.
In the third period, with just 28 seconds left on the clock, with the scored tied up 3-3, Team Wyoming’s Evie McGonagle skated from coast to coast and scored the game-winning goal. The final score was 4-3, with Team Wyoming taking home the victory.
Zoey Brown was awarded the MVP puck for Team Wyoming, as she played an instrumental role in the team’s success.
